To start this off, I would like to say this article is about the most useful book I have ever read that isn’t the Bible. The Bible is #1. This book is a great book on its own, but it won’t save your soul. The principles in it can, however, help you close business deals, make new friends, and train you how to avoid needless arguments – among many other things.
Dale Carnegie was a renowned American writer and lecturer best known for his influential book How to Win Friends and Influence People. First published in 1936, the book remains a timeless guide to building relationships and achieving success.
Carnegie’s book offers timeless advice on topics such as how to make a good first impression, how to handle difficult people, and how to win people over to your way of thinking. Although some of the examples and stories used in the book are dated, the principles Carnegie espouses are as relevant today as they were when the book was first published.
For anyone looking to improve their relationships or further their career, How to Win Friends and Influence People is essential reading. I’ve read it at least 7 times and given copies of it away to numerous friends and colleagues.
This book has helped me navigate tough relationships, figure out how to convince people of my way of thinking, and make a ton of money. If anybody ever asked me what is the ONE book they should read to help them be successful, this would be at the top of the list.
